Hostel Life Journey Started:RAGGING......First Phase !!

First day at HOSTEL was a bit hectic. There was lot of official procedure which I went through to get a room. At some point I was feeling like as if I was there getting a citizenship for a country..:-) Then finally there it ended and the final step was the handing over of a rule book. After seeing which I thought I entered my boring phase of life. Some points were like you need to switch off your room lights before 8pm daily and you cannot go out after 6pm…..etc. But as day passed by, I realized that the rule book was given only to break them….I mean we used the rule book very well…but not the way the hostel officials wanted instead we used to refer the rule book to break them.:-)
After first day, I made some friends who were from same native place and went to have dinner together. There I realize that when I dreamt of HOSTEL LIFE that time I had forgot one important part of hostel life to consider which was RAGGING….!!

Journey.....Destination:HOSTEL !

I have always had a dream or you can say a want inside.....I always wanted to stay in HOSTEL. And want to experience the hostel life where we are away from our parents and there is no one to say "YE MAT KARO" or "YE KARO".....!! In simple words I wanted to be free...........:-)
Hello friends this was the thinking before getting into a hostel.....So wait till the end before you CONCLUDE....!!
Then it was year 2007 when I got one step closer to ma dream..Hope you remember it....??!!:-)
I got admission in SIET Tumkur(Karnataka)....Friends who are not familiar with my profile let me mention just one fact that I am was born n brought up in West Bengal.
And soon the day arrived where I had to say GOOD BYE.......to my parents!! I never thought it would be so difficult for me......it was so difficult that at one point I was regretting about my dream....can you believe..!
It was 36 hours journey from Howrah to Yeshwantpur…From YPR station we took cab n reached the destination….MY HOSTEL…!
